Little Lockdown Jobs:
When you have two microlayouts all dressed up with nowhere to go, until at least January 2021, I have set up my Lockdown Jobs List and these are not in any particular order:

Test Tracks: 00 (16.5mm) and 009 (9mm) gauge tracks parallel on a Scale Model Scenery 400mm x 150mm baseboard. This can be kept in my office at home and saves running to the garage to set up a layout for running.

'All Cars Stop Here 請在此站停車', Hong Kong Tramways micro layout, OO scale 738mm x 207mm

Increase population of trams using Noch seated figures (not the happy Austrians) and Preiser crews.

New Walmington Pier
009 Edwardian Seaside Pier Tramway microlayout

The layout has been cleaned, tested and bagged up in the garage.
Refresh the livery of the Southend Pier 'Toastrack' Car
Rebuild Stores Tram with open platform and remove glazing - I think the best way will be to glue the body ends to the chassis, then cut out the glazed sections and take the body off leaving the dash panels in place - We'll see!
Build another Shapeways/Westgate Models Southend Pier 'Toastrack' Car in a different livery as a spare car.

By then, we should be ready for the outside world, or the outside world should be ready for us.

Little Lockdown Job No.1
Test Tracks: 00 (16.5mm) and 009 (9mm) gauge tracks parallel on a Scale Model Scenery 400mm x 150mm baseboard. This can be kept in my office at home and saves running to the garage to set up a layout for running.

Ideal for testing trams and wheel cleaning using rail-mounted cleaning brushes.

Little Lockdown Job No. whatever!
My Bachmann Hong Kong Tram 45 has no roof mounted resistor box as that got donated to my Works Car 200. Now I've got a revitalised car with no roof box and thankfully my frind and top Hong Kong tram expert Joseph Tse sent me this:

https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.flickr.com%2Fphotos%2F94402932%40N00%2F5431517392%2Fin%2Fdateposted-public%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3Dmicz0jTNKm3_ZHA8nCVaI8C1Zz3Ll36M3RrBpIj9JdaQFU9v9mQCjGI&h=AT2MbZVeWAuA-iKh7Z-lU51cahZlTtxfd0je0BT4gv8rfeVHYVtM9AJ0fr-RGeE2Y94PsM5HS2swpmSKQFthLIOwR0D09j8pnVV22IvUy18IO46jT-kHKhGGp5a6B73uhcqpBpkiogLjbd4p27U

So I plundered my long-lost bits box and made up a frame and added two lengths of sprue as resistors.

They never run without their boxes but in my opinion it looks better than nothing there at all.
