As well as the bird on the fence another bird has landed on the signal.   Will it remain when a train passes?

A train is due it is safe to cross the road.  The postman is waiting for someone to answer his knock on the door.  Two dog that have joined him on the walk wait patiently.

Thanks StaffsRail.  Glad you like the photos.

 

The old trees behind the scrap yard were beyond their best, so have been removed.  New trees and bushes have been added.

Leeds Central  and Dewsbury

Leeds Central and Wakefield Kirkgate.

Class 50s did make it to Leeds Central occasionally ( i have a picture of one such locomotive departing Leeds Central).

Here Class 50  50007 Hercules with a Leeds to Plymouth express service.

I have been unable to log in .  Must have been a 'glitch' somewhere.    Anyway I am back online.

Have been busy making trees and bushes.   The usual twisted wire etc.

I have fifteen models of Class 47s.    Most of which  (the big stuff) were seen at Gateshead Shed one time or another.    

When I was 16 a colleague at where i was working let me read his copy of Model Railway Constructor.  One of the articles was about 'Westerns'.    I said there and then I would have a few models.    The fleet now totals 13.

Hi MicroModeller.    It's a case of 'like Topsy,    It growed'.  lol   It was all okay when the layout was in the loft,  but everything is on a rotation (sort of)  now the layout is in the spare bedroom.
