There are two ways you can get your club involved with the MRL Forums!
1. You can send the club's details to an administrator to be advertised such as where the club is based, when you meet up and what your website (if you have one) is.
2. If you want to go the extra mile, you can set up your club's own sub-forum! This will not only allow you to advertise, but also mean you and your members can have a forum of your own to use for your needs.
What ever you want, all you need to do is send an Administrator a PM to get your Club or Society added here, and outline what you would like from us.
Trams can be expensive and there's so few ready-to-run two rail trams about. Suggest you trawl eBay and look for Bachmann trams, ideally the plain red and plain blue Hong Kong style ones once made for UK market or the Birkenhead ones 69 & 70.
Just to let you know that I have resigned from Stowmarket Railway Club as both member and chairman.
I had 12 years there but the last two years have been fraught with internal politics and power struggles and it got to the point that I dreaded going there and often felt ill.
I'll still be modelling and exhibiting under my name as I've always done and now feel relaxed and relieved.
For obvious reasons this topic is locked, but is open to discussion on the messaging system.
