DCC doesn't have to be expensive or complex. The guide below can help you get started with a very simple DCC controller running from your laptop (basic computer control): Download and Install "Arduino" from: http://arduino.cc/download.php?f=/arduino-1.5.8-windows.exe Download and Unzip "Processing" from: http://download.processing.org/processing-3.0a5-windows32.zip Download the code file for "Arduino" and open it in the Arduino program: DCC_Core_for_L298N.ino Download the code file for "Processing" and open it in the Processing program: processing_pde.pde Connect any Arduino compatable via USB micro-controller (E.g. Nano or Uno) and upload the program from Step 3 Connect up a L298N and Power Supply (12V-16V DC Supply Depending on layout size) and other connections like so: The polarity of the Track output (From Out1 & Out2 does not matter) With the controller connected, run the "Processing" program from step 4. Controls are on screen! (Center is no power, left is reverse, right is forward)
