UPDATE THURSDAY 21st NOVEMBER 2013

I know it's 6 days late, but I forgot to put it here. Arriva Trains Wales' 153367 arrived from Essellty in East Anglia at North Bridge TMD on Thursday 21st November on behalf of Dave Carson.

Also...

UPDATE WEDNESDAY 27th NOVEMBER 2013

Arriva Trains Wales' 150256 has been pulled out of service to receive some major maintenance at the depot to replace the couplings as they malfunctioned (I blame Carwyn for that... *cough*). It is unknown when it is due to return to service but will be out as soon as possible.

UPDATE TUESDAY 13th JANUARY 2015

Arriva Trains Wales' 150256 left for a new home. Although not originally one I was going to sell, my mate who drove this very unit soon after qualifying as a driver has been after a model and I decided to sell it onto him. Means I'll be able to invest in a RealTrack 143 ;)

UPDATE 08/06/2015:

Since the missus declared her need for a layout in our new flat, we've decided to invest in her first own item of rolling stock - the Hornby R3285TTS 4469 'Gadwell' A4 Pacific with the newly-released TTS sound on board. Not only is this the first new mainline steam engine in my (or should I say our?) collection, but also the first step into DCC sound. Ordered from TrackShack of the Isle of Man for a bargain price of £77.28 (eHattons being £90+), the locomotive should arrive tomorrow. A Hornby RailRoad BSK Mk1 in maroon will be sourced at one point to act as a support coach. The loco will also at some point be renumbered to 4468 'Mallard' and be sprayed glossy to represent her cosmetic restored condition as seen at the NRM, York.

UPDATE 15/11/2015:

Royal Mail Express MK1 Super BG Full Brake no. 94520 which joined the fleet back in Christmas 2008 and has seen very little use over the past 7 or so years has a new life ahead of it.

A completely unexpected sale with Caz this evening has meant the carriage will make a swift depot allocation to Marshfield Jtn as of tomorrow evening.
