fair few amount of 47s as well

Indeed!, but most of the 'reserve' ones are not used. They do, however, get a run in every now and again to ensure they're still in working order, and are repaired where needed.

Future Acquisitions: 2013/14

From this moment until March next year, I expect my home fleet to expand. This will include locomotives, and both passenger and freight rolling stock. Here's a list of what I intend to aquire:

- ATW Class 67, Hornby

- ATW Mk3 TSOx3, ATW Mk3 RFM, ATW Mk3 DVT, Hornby

- DB Schenker 66101, Bachmann

- DRS 57309, Bachmann

- Network Rail JNA Ballast gondolas (4), Dapol

- Various steel wagons, various manufacturers

- Heljan Cargovans (2)

- Various intermodal wagons

Yes, alot of stuff there, but hopefully, with many a job application, I dont have to depend on birthdays and christmas to get stuff!

As Stephen said, the 150 required only one chip because it has a power-conductive coupler.

As with the HST, both power cars need separate decoder, because it lacks the power coupler, which would need to be duplicated through the Mk3 coaches, and the entire train would need to be through wired much like the real things. However, this could be used to advantage and make a super duper HST set, with one decoder, also powering lights in the coaches. This would probably need using the entire train for electrical pick ups, but  would come with the disadvantage the need to clean the whole train's wheels!
